Jax (Jacob Morosco)
Jax is a young man who wants to make a difference with his life and is taken in many directions by his job, his family and mentor; Mulu, a Dimensional Occult Guardian. They all want him to use his extensive talents for their particular goals and he is still trying to figure out what he wants from life before it ends.
Jax finds himself torn between duty to his girlfriend, his uncle and his mentor, Mulu the Hellhound. He's sworn to help the Visitants who have come to our dimension centuries ago as refugees from other wars. He frustrates the love of his life, an older woman who was once his boss. Although they love each other intensely, there is very little chance of it becoming more than an on-again -- off-again thing.

Mulu presses him for help in fighting against the reemergence of the demigod Jareda even though his involvement has been predetermined to lead to his death.

Mulu
Mulu is an interesting creature whose sole purpose at this moment in time is to guard and defend the gates leading between dimensions. As a Dimensional Occult Guardian, he has spent a good portion of his life roaming between worlds. He is faithful to few but always to the mission. He has no feelings of remorse about killing and looks on humans as food. He has many forms but usually shows up as a seven foot hound. He also sports a "Hellhound creature" shape in grey stone or lava red.

Mulu is Jax is Guardian and mentor for most of his young life. He represents the father figure that has been missing as well as the avenger who mysteriously shows up in times of critical danger. He answers to his employers called the Tremen; an advanced race of beings who seemed to either control everything or are in the process of purchasing everything in several known universes.

Angela Saldana
This really hot Central American lawyer has her fingers and everyone's pie. Although she is currently a district attorney investigating criminal activity in Lima, Peru, Angela Saldana works for Señor Torre in his crime syndicate as well as his legitimate operations. She is a spy in the Peruvian government. She is not above doing dirty work to keep her boss happy. She's a beautiful thirty-something-year-old woman from Central America with a solid plan to become the next Eva Peron.

She has a thing for Jax but is sleeping with her boss. This woman is sweet to looka t but is definitely bad news. Although she's always right, it is not a good idea to trust her. But how can you resist a woman who is willing to make love to you while stabbing you in the back?

Jorge Torre
Señor Torre was once a devoted disciple of Jareda. He is primarily a visitant who has become a prominent businessman in South and Central America. Señor Torre has ties to the Peruvian government and is currently thinking of running for office. He also happens to be the boss of one of the largest narcotics trafficking rings in Central America.

SeñorTorre is hindered by Jax's destruction of one of his main drug factories but even more ticked that he stole valuable gems that was to be used as a bargaining chip for power in Jareda's upcoming new world order.
This visitant is very smart and very well-connected. He does get a bit petulant at times but keeps his childish nature in check when it comes to the big things. Señor Torre tends to overlook the small stuff in favor of big plans except when it comes to Jax.

Visitants
Several thousand years ago the deal was made between several species here on earth to house and protect immigrants from another dimension. They were allowed to take up residence under the sea and on land in return for key technological advancements. Over time much of the knowledge gained by humans were destroyed, lost or forgotten. The inhabitants of the sea kept to themselves while the Visitants as the tribes were called blended in with everyday societies.

There are humans who are chosen to aid and protect the interests of visitants throughout the ages and although humans and visitants have accepted each other more and more as time goes by, there is still a need for an advocate for their cause.

Bilal
Bilal is the creature of pure emotion who feeds off the power of others. He is totally devoted to Jareda and is in constant battle with Mulu for the rite of passage through dimensions. He also has delusions of grandeur and thinks he is going to be on the right hand side of Jareda once they win the battle across dimensions. He is a powerful shape shifter and very devious. He is cunning but not a great strategist.

Bilal is the seducer of children with latent powers. He considers serving his master's needs to be the greatest good above all else. He sometimes interprets his own needs as those of his master’s.

Aino Jansson
This young Finnish teenager has discovered her love of the demigod Jareda. She has been courted by Bilal, a long time disciple and devotee of Jareda in hopes of breaking the barrier along with other humans who show signs of great power and connection to the other dimension.

She is a young self-conscious 17-year-old who has borderline schizophrenia. For most of her life she has been sickly and has only recently begun to feel liberated from her past bouts of illness. Little does she know that she is the repository of tremendous power. Throughout the world scattered in small towns as well as big cities are young people who have been the born with latent power through selective breeding over the centuries between humans and Visitants.

Athena Morales Tennison
She is Jax's girlfriend and former boss. The owner of Tennison Precious Metals a firm that deals in industrial and investment grade metals and minerals. Once married to an eminent anthropologist, Athena built her business from the ground up and after the death of her husband continued to raise her only child while maintaining her or his metals company.

She is very self-conscious about her relationship with Jax; being the older woman, she sometimes conscious of their age difference. She's a very sensuous and sensual woman who can be stubborn and willful as well as strong and faithful.

Bita Morales
This woman is a ball of conflicting emotions; highly seductive, yet extremely combative. She's beautiful, powerful and dangerous. Like most surface dwelling Visitants, Bita can change shape from her human form to her Visitant form.

Although she does not do this regularly, every few years Visitants must take their natural shape and release the energy as part of their biological process. To deny this event can cause serious physiological and psychological problems; they might even become dangerous.

Carol Tennison

The headstrong daughter of Athena Morales Tennison. A firebrand who practices kickboxing, rides motorcycles and hating the hell out of high school. She loves Jax and thinks having a hellhound for a pal is the coolest thing in the world.

Dino Morales
Dino Morales is an Army officer who is both a jock and a brain. He excels in the field of Bio-engineering and is working on top-secret projects for the US military. He is married to Bita Morales who is a Visitant. He is also the brother of Jax's girlfriend Athena Morales.

Dino is a deadly combination of brains and brawn. He is given to impetuous moments and sometimes has to think his way out of bad decisions. He’s a generous uncle and longs to join the elite Starlight Squadron.
